Hire Susan & Emily to Present

Susan Kelsey, LMFT, RPT-S and Dr. Emily Keller, LPCC, RPT-S offer engaging presentations on play therapy and parenting.

What Sets Them Apart?

  • Their backgrounds: In addition to their experience as practitioners and play therapy speakers, Susan brings a background steeped in her neuroscience education and Emily brings her training in yoga and body-based therapies. Together, they interweave unique experiences and approaches to working with the body and mind of young children, teens, and their families.
  • Their philosophies: Susan and Emily believe that every child is a whole person who has exactly what they need to heal. They trust that every moment with a child matters because it offers an opportunity to see the worth and value in that child at that particular moment. Susan and Emily truly believe in the healing powers of relating cooperatively and respectfully with children from these standpoints.
  • Their experience: Susan is easing into retirement, yet, she continues to offer workshops and work Saturdays because of her dedication to training the next generation. She has a rich history of unique case studies spanning multiple decades to enhance her presentations. Emily brings her experience of working in an array of settings as well as a co-director and trainer at Southeast Institute for Group and Family Therapy. She is a storyteller, making theory relatable by interweaving her life experience as a military spouse while raising four boys into educational vignettes.
  • Their integrity: Simply put, they seek growth and to live life fully while in contact with themselves, their loved ones, and the world around them.
