Play Therapy Interventions for Therapists on the Go!

Not every play therapist has access to the fully stocked play therapy space of their dreams. Many of us started off sharing offices, working in carved out school spaces, and with the few items we could afford in the beginning. As we all know, the most important "things" a play therapist can bring include their whole-hearted presence and a safe space. After that, when we can only bring what we can carry or fit in a box in a closet, what do we choose?

This workshop offers an array of powerful play therapy techniques that are portable, printable, and potent. In this workshop, participants will experience and examine play therapy tools and techniques through the "therapeutic powers of play therapy" lens. Participants will not only gain skills to offer more play therapy interventions, they will further develop their trust in choosing the right tools to facilitate the healing and growth of their particular clients.

In this workshop, we will explore the power of portable expressive arts activities  through a Gestalt play therapy lens.
